Editing services for academics writing in English as a foreign language.

My aim is that you should communicate in English with the accuracy and fluency you command in your first language.

I have a PhD in philosophy, and experience of editing, writing, and research in a wide variety of disciplines. From 2010 to 2015 I was the principal copyeditor for the philosophy journal Mind. I have worked for academics in many countries, as well as the European Commission and UNICEF.

I charge GBP£45 per hour. Please contact me to discuss your needs. I will be delighted to hear from you.

I have assembled a list of tools for academic editing: these are wildcard Find/Replace expressions which can be used to speed up common academic editing tasks (for example, switching from Oxford to Chicago style). If you find these tools useful, please do let me know.
